BESTAgency is seeking fun, energetic and talented individuals to fill Part-time and On-call positions with our world-renowned singing gondolier program inside the Venetian Hotel and Casino. Our gondoliers are often the highlight of a Vegas adventure and considered the icons of the Venetian resort. Join us in making life-long memories for the thousands of guests we meet every day. You bring the voice; we bring the gondolas!
Each candidate must participate in a mandatory two-week, paid training course in which they will learn the ins and outs of operating a 2200 lbs floating gondola, the rich history and architecture of Venice, and the fundamentals of providing an exhilarating and unique experience for our guests.
Gondolier Candidates must meet the following criteria:
· Possess a friendly and outgoing demeanor, enjoy interacting with people and creating a fun and memorable experience for guests
· Able to sing and project a capella, learn and retain a variety of Italian themed songs, learn to speak with an Italian accent
· Able to commit to a minimum of 24 hours per week scheduled and/or on call hours
· Able to work indoors and outdoors throughout the year, including holidays
· Able to pass a standard drug test
AUDITION REQUIREMENTS AND INFORMATION:
Please prepare 2 contrasting songs to be sung a capella, preferably 1 classic and 1 contemporary/pop song. Songs sung in Italian a plus.
