BESTAgency is seeking energetic, motivated, and enthusiastic individuals to join our maintenance and show crew for the upcoming Parade Of Mischief and Holiday Parade at Downtown Summerlin.
REQUIREMENTS
– Age 18+
– Must be able to comfortably lift, maneuver and carry a minimum of 20 pounds.
– Should be comfortable with manual labor and the use of tools.
– Prior experience in the following a plus:
– Theater stage props, scenic design and/or stagehand
– Familiar with construction and repair of sets and props
– Familiar with operation, repair and maintenance of electric golf carts
– Familiar with repair and maintenance of parade floats
– Familiar with DMX boards a plus
– Availability for rehearsals from 7:30pm to 11:30pm and performances from 3:30pm to 7:30pm.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
– Work under the direction of BESTAgency Management and Parade Floats and Props Supervisor.
– Assist with the Maintenance and repair of parade floats, props, golf carts, and special fx equipment
– Assist with the Inventory and Maintenance of BESTAgency tools, supplies, and hardware
– Assist with Set-up and strike of Parade floats, props, golf carts, and special fx equipment for rehearsals and performances/parades
– Maintain a safe and organized work area in the warehouse and float shed
– Other duties as assigned by Management
PARADE OF MISCHIEF
Location: Downtown Summerlin 1985 Festival Plaza Dr
Street Rehearsals: Must be able to attend all
– Monday through Friday, September 23 to October 3.
– 7 days total – exact days TBD
– 7:00pm to 11:00pm
Performances: Must be able to attend all
– Fridays and Saturdays, October 4 through October 26.
– 3:30pm to 7:30pm
HOLIDAY PARADE
Location: Downtown Summerlin 1985 Festival Plaza Dr
Street Rehearsals: Must be able to attend all
– Mondays through Fridays, October 30 to November 14
– 7 days total – exact days TBD
– 7:00pm to 11:00pm
Performances: Must be able to attend all
– Fridays and Saturdays, November 15 through December 14.
– 3:30pm to 7:30pm
***PARADES on Fri 12/20 & Sat 12/21 might be added to the schedule***
