Ken Henderson
CEO
Ken Henderson is a native of Las Vegas. Growing up, he has always had an entrepreneurial spirit starting as a youth with popsicle stands to carwashes. After attending UNLV, majoring in business, his abilities to own and operate business ventures elevated to his own health clubs, a hair salon, cookie company and a shave ice store. After selling his businesses, he took a break from ownership and spent the next 10 years developing his operations and managerial skills at Caesars Palace as one of the Directors in the hotel division. During his tenure at the hotel, Ken was selected for a pilot program called “Upward Mobility” that was the brain child of hotelier/businessman Teri Lanni. The program was developed to fast track careers as well as expose management to in depth knowledge of the hotel industry. Ken was later named President of the Alumni group of that same organization.
After leaving the company in 1997, Ken consulted for a few major hotels for a year before joining his business partner in BESTAgency. Once aboard, after seeing that the modeling division was well on its way, Ken saw the need and then developed a production division that focused on entertainment marketing programs as well as ongoing entertainment venues and productions. These various programs quickly increased the employee count from 4 to over 300 to date. His focus is not only the development of new business, but the development of a powerful team that can effectively run what has developed into a multi million dollar business as well as the premier “full service entertainment company” in Las Vegas.
Most recently his focus for BESTAgency has been developing an entertainment management agreement and offices at the world famous Venetian Hotel in Macao. That operation alone will employ over 200 entertainers and management. BESTAgency offices opened in August 2007. Besides his operations role at BESTAgency, Ken also consults for many major hotels and venues throughout the United States and abroad on the development of entertainment projects/concepts and venues.
Ken also belongs to and is involved with the Nevada Hotel and Lodging Association, Nevada Tourism Alliance, ISES and MPI. He sits on the board of directors for the JDRF and co-founded “Holiday Magic”, a citywide holiday charity event as well as supports several other charities and political candidates personally as well as through BESTAgency.
Personally, Ken spends his time raising his 14 year old daughter, helping her with her schooling and volleyball. He loves music of all kinds as well as plays guitar, and is currently concentrating on developing his skills in more of the behind the scene or technical production/ recording. He is also a novice art collector and spends time shopping galleries in art communities while traveling.
